If you're buying

What happens to your money, and what to do when something isn't right.

Where does my money go when I buy?

It comes to MBOOSTED and stops there. The seller cannot see it, touch it or withdraw it — they only get told the order is paid so they can start.

It moves to the seller only after you've received the order and confirmed it's right. If you never confirm and never dispute, the order closes on its own after the review window, and only then does the seller's side of it begin.

FOR EXAMPLE

You pay 500 EGP. That 500 sits with us until you say you're happy.

Why did I pay more than the listed price?

There's a 10% buyer fee added on top of the listing price. It's shown itemised at checkout before you pay — never added silently afterwards.

FOR EXAMPLE

A listing priced at 1,000 EGP costs you 1,100 EGP at checkout.

How do I know a seller is any good?

Every seller carries a level — Bronze, Silver or Gold — earned from completed sales and a clean record. It's on the listing and on their profile, and it isn't something a seller can buy or set themselves.

Levels go up as a seller builds a track record, and a seller with disputes against them doesn't climb.

I got the wrong thing. What do I do?

Don't confirm the order — open a dispute instead. You can open one up to 7 days after the order completes, and you don't need the seller to agree.

The money for that order freezes immediately, both of you send evidence, and someone on our team decides: release to the seller, refund you in full, or split it.

Why do some categories have only a few sellers?

Some categories — gift cards and official top-ups among them — are restricted to verified stores and to MBOOSTED itself, rather than being open to every seller.

Those are the categories where a bad delivery is hardest to undo, so we keep the supply side narrow on purpose.

If you're selling

Getting started, getting paid, and what happens when something goes wrong.

How do I start selling?

Create a listing. You don't need to verify your identity to list something — publishing is open.

Verification only becomes necessary when you want to take money out. That way you can start earning immediately and deal with the paperwork when there's actually something to withdraw.

Why aren't my earnings available immediately?

Once the buyer receives their order, your earnings enter your wallet as held for a short period before becoming available to withdraw.

This protects both sides: it gives the buyer time to confirm everything is right, and it protects you from a late dispute after you've already withdrawn.

The period ranges from 1 to 5 days depending on the product type, and shortens as your seller level rises. Balances are released on a schedule, so allow up to an hour on top.

What does MBOOSTED take?

10% commission from your side of the sale, and a separate 10% fee paid by the buyer on top of your price. Stores pay no seller-side commission — only the buyer-side 10% applies to them.

Both are worked out at the moment of sale and fixed there, so a later rate change never reaches back into an order you've already made. There are no listing fees and no monthly fees.

FOR EXAMPLE

You sell at 1,000 EGP: 900 EGP lands in your wallet, and the buyer paid 1,100 EGP.

Why do I have to verify my identity?

Because you're being sent money, and we have to know who is receiving it. It's required to withdraw — never to list or to sell.

You'll need a government ID or passport, a selfie, and a declaration that you're over 18. We review it within 24 hours.

What's the smallest amount I can withdraw?
How long does a withdrawal take?

Every payout is a manual transfer to a mobile wallet — a person sends it. It is not instant, and we'd rather tell you that than promise a number we can't hold to.

You'll need a payout destination saved on your profile before you can request one.

I sold before all this. Where's my old money?

It's in your wallet. When we moved to wallet balances, every seller's existing earnings were migrated across automatically — nothing was lost and there's nothing you need to claim.

Open your wallet and you'll see the balance along with the history behind it. If a figure looks wrong, tell us and we'll trace it against the original orders.

How do I move up a level?

By completing sales and keeping a clean record. Levels reflect a track record, so they build up over time rather than being bought or applied for.

Disputes resolved against you hold you back, and a higher level shortens how long your earnings are held.

Why is my balance negative?

Because an order was refunded after you'd already withdrawn the earnings from it. The money had left, so reversing it left a shortfall.

Nothing is taken from you and no one will chase you for it. Your next sales pay it down first, and withdrawals resume once the balance is back above zero.

My account was suspended and I have a balance. Is it gone?

No. A suspended account's balance is frozen, not confiscated. It stays on the ledger in your name so it can still cover a refund or a dispute.

After 90 days a frozen balance is put in front of a person to review. That review is a human decision, not an automatic release.

About verification

What we ask for, who sees it, and how it's stored.

What do you need from me?

A government ID or passport, a selfie, and a declaration that you're over 18.

That's it — and it's only needed to withdraw money, never to list or to sell.

How long does the review take?

Within 24 hours. A person looks at it — it isn't an automated check.

Who can see my documents?

Only an administrator, and only through a route that records the access — who opened the document and when.

The files are encrypted and stored outside the site's public files, so nobody reaches one by guessing a URL. They are never shown to buyers, sellers or anyone else on the platform.

Still stuck? A person will answer you.
